Till Death Do Us Part: This Couple Has A Killer Wedding Photo Shoot

Vanessa (Van) Lawson and Josh Morden are about to take the plunge and join each other’s company for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately for them, that won’t be too far down the road as the couple had a very famous camping enthusiast crash their wedding photos. The zombie killer of Camp Crystal Lake couldn’t even wait for the crazy kids to get down the aisle before showering them with affection…and blood.

Van and Josh share a love of horror movies that may be the bond that keeps them alive during this horrific shoot. Many couples have started incorporating themes to their wedding photos to spruce up what some may consider a tired tradition. What God has brought together, let no machete tear apart.

Josh and Vanessa began dating in high school and through college which would put them at the right age demographic for Jason’s blood lust.

“We knew exactly how we wanted to die. We definitely wanted the shot of the killer standing in the woods staring at us as we held hands.” Van told Yahoo Shine. The Canadian couple is going to be joined together for all eternity provided they didn’t undergo some traumatic experience that caused them to leave this mortal coil unnaturally. Given the nature of their relationship, I’m sure they will suit Vanessa and Josh just fine. We’re not sure when Josh and Van will actually tie the knot but our bets are on October 31st or Friday the 13th.

Twisty Returns to American Horror Story For Season Seven

Twisty the clown is returning to American Horror Story for its seventh season. Producer Ryan Murphy took to Instagram to make the announcement today. Seemingly cashing in on the scary clown genre with the release of the remake of IT later on in the year. Pennywise is no doubt the standard when it comes to scary clowns and Twisty’s design is certainly influenced by Stephen King’s colorful villain.

American Horror Story
Source: Google

Twisty the Clown was the big bad in season 4 of American Horror Story, subtitled Freak show. Twisty was a retired clown who took issue with the freak show coming to town and wreaked havoc to show his displeasure. He wore a prosthetic mask to cover his face after attempting to blow his brains out with a shotgun. He was literally dropped on his head as a baby, which caused some mental issues. He ran off to join the circus when he was young. Due to his popularity, the owners of the freak show spread a rumor that he was molesting children. Disgraced, he went back home to find that his alcoholic mother was dead. His previous experience with the freak show led to his hatred of the one currently occupying his hometown of Jupiter.

Believing he was saving children from their “mean parents”, Twisty murdered the parents and kidnapped the children. The children were legitimately terrified of him, however, Twisty thought that they loved him. Twisty met his end at the edge of Edward Mordrake’s blade.

There is no word on whether John Carroll Lynch will return to the role, but give American Horror Story’s penchant for keeping actors for multiple seasons, this seems most likely.

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Alison Pill, Colton Haynes and Adina Porter will star in the upcoming season. The upcoming season will in all likelihood debut in September, keeping up with the past two seasons. It will be based on the 2016 election, however, it will not feature direct takes on Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. As it always has, American Horror Story will deal with real issues through allegory. Perhaps with Twisty the Clown’s appearance, they will be commenting on the “political circus” that last year’s election became.

One would instantly take this as an instance of child abuse but you will be surprised to hear that the children enjoyed every bit of it. Despite looking terrified out of their wits, the young girls were actually having a great time. They were delighted to be featured in their dad’s gruesome and terrifying photography. The interesting results yielded appraisal from the daughters first who stated that “they loved it”. In fact, they considered the whole thing to be a giant dress up game.

We all know that playing with the devil eventually tempts the devil to come out of hiding. Let us just hope that  these nightmares do not manifest themselves unto the little girls’ real lives eventually.

Annabelle: Creation Gets A Scary 100% Rating On Rotten Tomatoes

Rotten Tomatoes can be a very mixed bag when it comes to films. The infamous website has become the gold standard when it comes to film reviews as it allows audience participation so that fans can get a “man-on-the-street” perspective. The general public has come to trust Rotten Tomatoes more that established critics in recent years.

(Source: Annabelle Creation Warner Bros.)

Take, for instance, the Conjuring series, with two titular films, a spin-off named Annabelle which received a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a sequel entitled Annabelle: Creation set to be released August 11. After a screening in LA in June, viewers headed over to Rotten Tomatoes to give their feedback, which has been unusually high.

The average rating is 7.9/10, however, the site is listing the film with a 100% approval rating. our of 4500 people polled, 92% said that they would see the film upon release. Hollywood Reporter critic Justin Lowe says:

“[Director David F. Sandberg] demonstrates a deft affinity for the elaboration of horror conventions, as well as the expansion of the Conjuring universe.”

Despite 100% approval, not everyone has a glowing review, however. Variety’s Peter Deburge says:

“This effective yet empty-headed horror movie goes to show how eager audiences are to be scared, and how even an unsightly doll can do the trick when the spirit is willing.”

The prequel film will focus on the creation of the demonic doll, which came to be after a family loses their daughter in a car accident only for the little girl to possess a doll that her father created. The film will spin off another popular character from the franchise with the nun from Conjuring 2. A film featuring that character is scheduled for a July 13, 2018, release.

The Conjuring series has been quite popular among horror fans and is set to spin off another character from the first film in The Crooked man. Producer Peter Safran told the Hollywood Reporter:

“I think there’s something fascinating in the Crooked Man. Maybe tonally he’s not as grounded as The Conjuring itself is, and maybe that’s why some people felt it wasn’t what they were looking for in The Conjuring, but I suspect a movie with him would be really, really cool.

“I just love what that character can be. We have some interesting ideas for him.”

6 True Horror Movies and the Spooky Tales They Were Based Off

Ever wonder how such horrific legends come into existence and how horror movie directors get such horrifying ideas? They don’t just come out of thin air and they certainly do no reside in the realm of fantasy. They have a solid background story and every story has its own way of being opened to the world.

Horror Movies – The Beginning Of Horror Cinema

The most common way of sharing horror stories with the world is the electronic media. That is how movies get such ideas. So much so, some movies are even based on or are an imitation of real life events; not just inspired by the idea of a certain eerie incident. If you are a fan of the horror genre then you must know about such movies. Nevertheless, here is a list of horror movies and the spooky tales they were based on.

1. The Conjuring (2013-2013)

This film follows the horrifying and torturous adventures of Lorraine and Ed Warren. The Warrens were known around the world as the most highly pronounced demonologist and medium duo. The couple founded the oldest ghost hunting group in the history of New England, the “New England Society for Psychic Research”. Lorraine and Ed Warren’s haunted run-ins included the plot of “The Conjuring” and “The Conjuring 2”, plus much more.

2. The Exorcist (1973)

“The Exorcist” was a movie that intrigued many, as it came to be one of highest grossing cinematics of all time. The film began with strange actings committed by 12 year old Regan MacNeil. When medical professionals could not determine the effects of this phenomenon, MacNeil’s family found an exorcist as a last resort. The true story consisted of not a 12 year old girl, but of a 13 year old boy. While the boys name was unknown, the alias ‘Roland Doe’ came to play. Doe often recorded his strange sightings (noises, objects moving on their own, levitating, etc.) in his personal journal. Despite the iconic, over-dramatic vomit scene, “The Exorcist” stayed close to its origins.

3. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

The infamous “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is based on the real-life serial killer Ed Gein. Gein was notorious for fashioning furniture and clothing taken from a victims skin and bones. According to Wisconsin Sickness, at the time of his arrest, the authorities discovered the following accessories and body parts in his possession: human skulls mounted upon the corner posts of his bed, human skin fashioned into a lampshade and used to upholster a chair seat, human skullcaps in use as soup bowls, a human heart, the head of Mary Hogan found in a paper bag, a ceiling light pull consisting of human lips, a “mammary vest” crafted from the skin of a woman’s torso, a belt made from several human nipples, and socks made from human flesh.

4. Child’s Play (1988)

“Chucky”, the child’s favorite icon, has an inspiration of his own named “Robert”. Better known as “Robert the Doll”, this voodoo is about as horrifying as it gets. Six-year-old Gene (Robert Eugene) Otto received Robert as a gift in 1906. Said to have been linked to dark magic, the Otto family’s retainer created this voodoo doll by hand with ingredients consisting of straw, cloth, wire, and DNA from the child. Taken enough abuse from the Otto family and recently losing a child of her own, the servant decided to take matters into her own hands. “Robert the Doll” came to life and began doing things the stereotypical spirit would do (mutilate other toys, move from spot to spot, and misplace furniture). Gene confined Robert into the attic. Though, time after time, he always found a way to escape. Gene died in 1974, and while the doll found new owners, Robert now lays in the “Fort East Martello Museum in Key West”. May you wish to visit him, ask before taking pictures. Rumor has it, if you take the picture of the doll without talking to it first, strange things will start to occur.

5. Dahmer (2002)

This film, as one could suggest by its name, is based on the serial killer Jeffery Dahmer. Known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, Dahmer was accused and found guilty of seventeen accounts of the rape, murder, and dismemberment of little boys and men between 1978 and 1991.

6. The Hills Have Eyes (1977)

Based on a family road trip gone wrong and bloodthirsty cannibalistic mutants, the realistic true story takes place during the reign of England’s King James I. The Beane family lived in a cave by the sea close to Scotland’s Ayrshire and had no contact with the outside world, besides the occasional traveler; which they would rob, murder, and cannibalize the said travelers remains. King James’ higher authority could never find out why or how these individuals went missing until one victim of this horror managed to escape and notify the people that she came across.

There are so much more spooky real-life events that lead to the creation of a related movie. One ought to search the web for such movies and watch them for a real thrill because real stories have real thrills. It might have been heard on social media about deaths of certain people while they were watching The Conjuring 2. It’s definitely not a hoax since the horror was too intense. The reason behind such intensity was because the story was real and has happened before in the past.

There are so many local legends around the world that if every legend was made into a horror movie, the horror genre would become the genre having the most movies under its name. It is hoped that one day this might happen because all the horror stories are frantic to escape their oblivion and all those who seek to know are anxious. Meanwhile, enjoy the real life horror movies and the spooky tales they were bases off that are already revealed to the world.

10+ Most Horrifying Events/Character’s Created By Stephen King

(Stephen King spoilers to follow, they are worth it but you have been warned)

Stephen King is undeniably the King (get it?) of modern day literature horror. He has no problem setting the scene for a likable character only to kill him off soon after.  He also likes to display the worst of what humanity is capable of. Here are The 19 Most Horrifying Moments and Characters that Stephen King has ever produced.

Stephen King’s 19 Most Horrifying Events You Must Check Out

1. The Long Walk

A novel by Stephen King revolves around a dystopian future where to win a large sum of money, one must successfully be the last man standing of ‘The Long Walk.’ I won’t give all the details and it might not seem too interesting, but it is one of the more intense novels that I have read by Stephen King.

7. Craig Toomey

If there is one character that is the definition of rage, it’s Craig Toomey. From the novel The Langolier’s, he is the main antagonist and he is motivated purely by rage. I won’t spoil his actions, but they can’t be topped.

8. The Hedges of the Overlook Hotel

The Shining film version skims over the hedge scene, but it is considered the terrifying moments of the novel version. Danny is chased by the hedge maze as it tries to grab him and never let him go. One thing is for sure, you will never look at hedges the same way again.
