But these famous serial killers still managed to play the evil part by putting some mind-boggling words in the ears of their executioners and had them by the horns. “I’ll be back” seems to be a normal thing one would say a goodbye, but what irrational person would say this during their execution? It’s true that serial killers are more fiends in their minds than their actions can articulate.

This article most probably got you into bizarre thoughts as well. If not, then you must have a hint of evil in your mind as well! Because the only minds that can understand such appalling words are the ones with a little monster possessing them. Food for thought!

The Deep Web and It’s Contents

With a wide array of topics ranging from cat pictures to red rooms, one could say that the deep web is nothing close to ordinary. Ran by the TOR browser, the darknet is the home of illegal stores, or the black market. Nothing on this part of the internet can be bought without a bitcoin, the dark webs form of currency. Many people have heard of bitcoin, as most online e-commerce sites accept them as a form of payment. Only one bitcoin is equivalent to 2,948.69 US dollars (as of June 11, 2017). The following list demonstrates the variety of sites that the deep web has to offer.

5. Gore Sites / Red Rooms

The blood and gore sites of the deep web are worse than the limited amount offered on the clear net. The extremities of gore on certain .onion links can range from Crush Porn all the way to Red Rooms. Crush porn contains videos or images of women, primarily in high heels, stomping on helpless small animals until death. Red Rooms are sites where a twisted individual can pay currency for the opportunity to tell the admins a specific way to murder a kidnapped victim.

6. Erotica (No Picture Provided)

The darknet doesn’t only offer the average porn sites people use on a daily basis. The erotica featured here is a necrophiliac and pedophile’s wet dream. At some point in time, there was a .onion link that directed to dog genitalia.

8 Abandoned Places That Words Can’t Describe

1

What will stay standing will happen to our legacy when we are gone? Only time will tell. Here are eight abandoned places around the world where time is already winning the battle.

Why are Abandoned Places Indescribable?

Abandoned places possess such preternatural appearance that your brain always gets hushed when they see such a place. When your feet are in such a place, you would experience the true sound of silence and would render you brain inept to even describe what you felt or saw in an abandoned place.

1. House of the Bulgarian Communist Party

What started off as a peak of the communist ideal, is now a crumbling flying saucer on top of a mountain. When the Iron Curtain fell in 1989, Bulgaria moved to a democratic system and left their red past behind. The cost of repairs and demolition are beyond what the country can pay so it still stands to this day. The building has fallen into disrepair and the local population has no interest in the building and want to see it gone. From the inside, you can see the fallen ceiling tiles and crumbling foundation, but it also has the communist history of a past day and age making it a spectacle of today.

2. Domino Sugar Factory, Brooklyn

Another highly illegal abandoned property, this time near the city. The Domino Sugar Factory was open for around 120 years, producing 3 million pounds of sugar a day at its peak. The building is truly a throwback to the late 1800’s with the brick and mortar buildings. However when a developer purchased the property when it began to decline. The developer tried and failed to make the old place into a luxury condominium. It is under new management who are trying again to gentrify the building but until they decide, it sits an undecided timeworn property.

3. Military Hospital in Beelitz

You can’t have an ‘abandoned places’ list without a hospital on it, and what better hospital than the one that a young Adolf Hitler was treated in for a knee injury. It was used for almost 80 years as a military hospital until the Soviet army pulled finally pulled out in 1990. Beyond that, attempts were made to privatize the hospital without any luck. In 2000 they served their last patient and closed their doors for good. Because of the outdated and aged equipment in the hospital, very little was salvaged and the hospital still has the relics on medicinal care.

4. Hashima Island, Japan

Now if this island looks familiar, it’s because it was one island used in the filming of the past James Bond film Skyfall. The history of the island itself is eerie, to say the least. In the early 1800’s, coal was found on the island and a mining operation was set up for three years until Mitsubishi bought it and continued the operation until 1974. However, due to the fall of the demand for coal, the island was slowly abandoned with its infrastructure intact. At its peak, the island was home to close to 6000 individuals and boasted hospitals, nine-story buildings, and of other features. However today it is a crumbling island with a unique past and an uncertain future.

5. Michigan Central Station, Detroit

When trains started arriving at Michigan Central Station around 100 years ago it was the tallest train station in the world. However, due to the fall in the use of trains and the increase of the stations around the country, the station fell to the wayside. Nowadays the large empty station is a relic of the past architecture and past travel. The place has fallen victim of the vandals and thieves and has become a shell of what it used to be. The station has been put on the national register of historic places, and people are hoping for the location to be redeveloped sooner than later. Their hope is to restore the station to its former glory.

6. Pripyat, Ukraine

You may not know it by the town, but you should recognize the disaster that it is associated with, Chernobyl. The town evacuated after the nuclear disaster in 1986 and has been decaying ever since. The residents were told to take the minimum with them leaving the town following the disaster. So the pictures that have emerged from the people who have access or brave enough to sneak in show us a time capsule of the 1980’s. The town was declared uninhabitable by humans for at least 24,000 years but that hasn’t stopped people from trying to get a glimpse of the spectacle of Pripyat.

7. SanZhi Houses, Taiwan

Beginning in 1978, this housing project outside of Taipei was way ahead of its time. The enthusiasm was short-lived however because of the fact around half way through construction a series of serious car crashes and even a suicide occurred. The locals said this was because the construction men dug up 17th-century remains of Dutch soldiers and in doing so cursed the project and the ground itself. The project was shut down by 1980 and all records of the site were destroyed. This just leaves a nonclassic ghost town in Taiwan with a space age feel waiting for a second chance.

8. Nara Dreamland, Japan

Have you ever wanted to experience Disneyland without actually having to go? Well, you missed yours by at least eleven years. Nara Dreamland was open for at least 40 years before it closed because of lost profits and visitors. Despite this closure, the park was not demolished and has become a real-life playground for urban explorers and adventurers alike. However, there are security guards patrol the park and if you are caught you will be detained and fined. The park is a bootleg of Disneyland in Anaheim. The similarities can be seen in the roller coasters, thrill rides and the layout of the park in general. The best tour of this abandoned park is found on a great YouTube channel by the name of The Proper People who explore abandoned places all around the United States as well as some international. The link to their tour can be found here.Japan Nara Dreamland - Abandoned Places

Felt that ineffable feeling after seeing these places? It’s no wonder because these abandoned places have that mystic thing about them; questions that can never be answered, distressing feelings that can never be explained, unnerving sights that can never be fathomed and what else! Look up more images of these places, you will be amazed to see what you find. The stories you can find about them are absolutely overwhelming.

As always, the only thing that makes a place and abandoned place is the past that stains the fabric of its present as well as the future. These are usually the places where a lot of lives are somehow lost and the rest of the world keeps itself aloof because of the fear of death. That is why abandoned placed exist and continue to exist as such. There ought to be a place other than a graveyard for the dead to dwell after all!

9 Premonitions That Really Make You Wonder

Call it luck or some higher power, this sort of intuition cannot be denied. Here are nine examples of premonition that are sure to make your skin crawl.

1. Coal Spill

It’s one thing to predict your own death, it’s another thing to predict it down to your cause of death and where you will die. However, that’s exactly what Eryl Mai Jones did. A few days prior to the incident she had a nightmare that her school was destroyed by something large and black. This, just like most other things on this list was a disturbing omen for what was to follow. Reports go that a few days after this nightmare a coal pile from a nearby faculty spilled down the hill gathering massive amounts of debris and speed along the way. At the bottom of the hill was Eryl’s school and you can guess what happened next. The school, Eryl, and 143 of her classmates were wiped out that day yielding no survivors.

2. Friendly Fire

War can be stressful, stressful to the point of not knowing what you or the people around you are capable of. In 2012, a Marine stationed in Garmsir was training Afghan soldiers as a part of NATO withdrawal program. Months prior to this withdrawal program a Marine named Greg Buckley Jr. had a bad feeling about the future. He told his father that if he wasn’t home before November he would be dead. A few weeks into the training of other the foreign soldiers, this very bad feeling became a reality. During the training, a specific trainee developed a problem with Buckley and a few other Marines. Days after this problem, the trainee shot and killed Buckley and his men while in the guard post.

3. DC-10 Crash

https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6138/6015012172_2ffeced19c_b.jpg
It seems like every couple years a story comes up about a plane disappearing or crashing and it becomes a tragedy. However back in 1970, David Booth had the same nightmare of a plane careening off a runway bursting into flames. This nightmare went on for tens days straight. Feeling compelled, he decided to inform the FAA of this. The agents listened and resolved that this was probably a DC-10. On the last day of the nightmare, a DC-10 plane crashed just after takeoff because of engine failure. The crash had no survivors.

4. World Warfare

In 1914, studies into the psyche began to take its first step and Carl Jung is no outlier. He was a doctor that studied psychoanalysis and became quite good at it. However, he began to have strange dreams with increasing frequency. He saw seas of blood, bodies drowning in yellow waves and an entire country freezing over. As time went on, these Nightmares got more vivid and frequent. To his relief, the dreams stopped in June of 1914 and a little over a month later World War 1 began. This was the worst war for its time causing the death of 16 million people worldwide. Ironically, Carl Jung specifically interpreted other people’s dreams as a part of his day to day job, too bad he could see what he see his dreams meant.

5. Broadway Dreams

When it comes to becoming a star, some people will do just about anything. However, if someone tells you that they have a bad feeling about something, nine times out of ten they are probably right. In the later parts of her life, Rose Gilbert was going to pursue her dream of becoming an actress on Broadway. Her vocal coach had an overwhelming feeling of dread when it came to this and tried to convince Rose otherwise. Rose chalked this up to be jealousy and ignored her, she should have just listened. In June of 2005, Rose was found beaten and stabbed to death in her New York apartment along with her roommate.

6. Hurricane Foretold

In an omitted section of The Monk’s Alphabet describes the visions of a monk named Jeremy Driscoll. He describes his vision as seeing the state of Louisiana for a northern direction. He could tell that state was unprepared for any sort of disaster. The vision supposedly continued to show a hurricane destroying an empty state. When upon seeing this vision Father Driscoll was left confused on whether to reflect on the past destruction or warn of the impending disaster. He soon got his answer when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. The reason why this was omitted from the book was it was said by the editor that this story would be too hard to believe.

7. The Death of Sharon Tate

Celebrities seem to be a constant source of rumor and questioning. So when one thinks that they saw the ghost of the house’s former owner, you take it with a grain of salt. Sharon Tate, an actress of the late 1960’s was overwhelmed with a feeling of dread all day and then, tried to sleep it off. This is when she woke up to see the previous owner of the house in ghost form with its neck cut open. She was convinced that she was gonna be like the previous house owner. Three years later and weeks before she was to give birth, she was the victim of Charles Manson and especially his cult. She has stabbed to the death in her the living room and the twist is that she was murdered a mile from the house where she saw the haunting ghostly presence.

8. One Year to Late

If you are unaware of Joe Meek, he was a music producer from the 1950’s. While this did make him famous for his producing, it is was also on good accounts that he was very much involved in the occult. He was known for his weird warnings, one of which sort of came true. While talking to Buddy Holly, Joe Meek warned him that he would die on February 3rd, 1958. When the 4th of February, 1958 came, Buddy told him that he was still kicking. I would say, don’t speak so soon. 364 days later, on February 3rd of 1959, Buddy Holly died in a plane crash. The day is now known as ‘The Day Music Died’.

9. Two for Luck

Sometimes having one life-saving premonition isn’t enough, sometimes you need two to really help convince you. Barrett Naylor was a wall street executive during this time of his first premonition was in 1993. While on the subway to the World Trade Center he had a bad feeling about the day so he turned around and went home. He later received a call asking if he was in the trade center because it had been bombed. If that wasn’t enough though, 8 years later he had a similar feeling and decided to listen to it again. This was the right idea because upon his arrival back home he turned on the TV to witness the collapse of the twin towers. Now this is a good example of when you get those gut instincts, you stop and listen to them.

(Stephen King spoilers to follow, they are worth it but you have been warned)

Follow-Up Film To ‘Labyrinth’ Officially In Progress

0

When you think of cult classic cinema, it doesn’t get much more cult or classic than Jim Henson’s 1986 masterpiece Labyrinth. Fans of the original are somewhat split then as official news is coming from Deadline that a film is in the works which will look to expand the Labyrinth universe.

The production is definitely off to a strong start though as it has already signed Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe and The Girl In The Spider’s Web director Fede Alvarez as the directorial head for the currently untitled project.

Alvarez will also be in charge of writing the story for the picture, alongside Jay Basu who some of you may also know from The Girl In The Spider’s Web and Monsters: Dark Continent.

According to the Deadline report, the film will look to “create a new story within the universe created in the original movie” and strongly reiterates that “it is not a remake”, which is good news for fans of the first movie.

Even though Labyrinth did not fare well at the box office upon release, it is said to be the source of inspiration for many budding filmmakers, including Alvarez himself who said that “Labyrinth is one of the seminal movies from my childhood that made me fall in love with filmmaking”.

For those that need a quick premise of the original film, Labyrinth introduces us to teenage Sarah (Jennifer Connelly). Sarah wishes for her unruly baby brother to disappear and is shocked when her wish is seemingly granted as the boy is taken by the goblin king Jareth (David Bowie). Sarah then attempts to rescue her sibling as she traverses the goblin king’s labyrinthian domain. The film is expertly put together by Jim Henson alongside George Lucas, and it is considered a masterwork in not only world design, but also visuals and sound.

Currently in the casting stages, the film is set to begin production this fall.
