Woman Films 2 Huge Black Wolves Running Down The Highway

There are plenty of reasons to be afraid of wolves, especially if Liam Neeson’s recent filmography is anything to go by. However, many people would assume that they would be quite protected in a car. Though this may be the case, people may not be as safe as they expect. The main reason for this is that black wolves are quite fast and can keep up with a vehicle.

This is evidenced by a video released on YouTube by a woman driving her car with two wolves running alongside her. Explaining the context, the driver said that she initially saw them in her rear-view mirror. She first thought that they were people because of the speed they were going. Then, she thought they were bears, though it was the wrong time of year to spot them.

However, it was only when they were close that she realized that they were black wolves. As she had slowed down to see what was following her, the animals quickly overtook her car. Knowing that nobody would believe her story without evidence, she decided to catch up back up and video them.

According to the woman, she had to drive between 40 and 50km/h just to keep up with them. Naturally, this is much faster than the majority of people would expect. The woman notes that she’s seen plenty of other animals on that stretch of road in the past. That’s why she first thought that it might be a bear in the distance.

When she finally got close to the black wolves, she was shocked by just how big they are. This is especially true about their heads and jaws. Being meat-eaters, the wolves certainly have quite a large and powerful jaw. Naturally, they’re not something that anybody would want to run into in the wilderness. Just ask Liam Neeson.

Those Who Decorate Early For Halloween Are A Lot Happier, Study Proves

Halloween is just 3 months away, and as expected, stores are beginning to stock up on spooky decorations while people are starting to decorate their homes in preparations for the best day of the year.

Whilst there are people who are completely passionate about the holiday, others start decorating their house extremely close to October 31, while the rest don’t take part in Halloween altogether.

For those of you who assume decorating your home early is strange, do not worry, there’s no right time to actually begin your Halloween decor, in fact, it could make you happier the earlier you do it.

It’s a well-known fact that thinking about something that makes you happy or reminiscing on some of your best memories helps you feel better and cheers you up.

This applies to Halloween decorations too, but don’t take our word for it, you can listen to the experts.

A psychoanalyst known as Steve McKeown – founder of MindFixers and owner of The McKeown Clinic – has shared his thoughts on those who tend to get excited when approaching their favorite holiday, whether that’s Halloween or Christmas. Find the full interview, HERE!

“In a world full of stress and anxiety, people like to associate to things that make them happy…”

He added:

“Decorations are simply a pathway to those childhood magical emotions of excitement.”

So, in short, McKeown is stating that we tend to hold on to magical moments from our childhood and attempt to get that same feeling (or something similar) every time our favorite holiday comes around.

Whether this is the case or not, there’s no denying that decorating your home in creepy designs in anticipation for Halloween – regardless of whether you’re doing it from childhood memories – is one of the few things you can do every year that doesn’t get boring.

This Couple Have Gone Viral For Their Tim Burton-Themed Wedding

Traditional weddings are a thing of the past and now couples everywhere are pushing the limits and making their special day even more unique than it already is.

Two electronic DJs – Ed and Lydia – have now raised the bar with this unbelievable one-of-a-kind Tim Burton-themed Corpse Bride wedding and it has attracted interest from all over the world.

A combination of spooky drinks, hauntingly beautiful costumes, Halloween music, and Lydia’s dried and dead flower bouquet, mean this Tim Burton wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Another great addition to the wedding was the fact everyone in attendance wore costumes, which only added to the spectacular event.

The happy couple was together for a decade when Ed got down on one knee to propose on their 10-year anniversary. Of course, Lydia said yes which begun the planning for the best Hallo-wedding of all time.

As you can see in the above pictures, the setting for the wedding was filled with wonderful scenery and both Ed and Lydia couldn’t have wished for a more ideal wedding.

For those of you unaware, Corpse Bride – the movie Ed and Lydia’s wedding was based on – is a 2005 Disney animation which follows a shy groom and a deceased young woman who rises from the grave assuming he has married her.

The movie is Oscar-nominated and deserves all the plaudits and positivity it can get.

Trailer: Ridley Scott’s Raised By Wolves, Gives off Strong Alien Vibes

Raised by Wolves has been hotly anticipated ever since the Ridley Scott-produced series was announced. This was especially true given that it’s being produced for HBO Max, which typically aims to surpass expectations. Over the past few months, however, there has been little noise made about the series. The sci-fi show looks to change that with a new trailer, which you can see below. The move comes a few short weeks before the series is set to debut.

The show follows a group of people who have been raised by androids on what appears to be a strange planet. As the synopsis makes clear, though, very little is as it seems. It also notes that believing that religion could tear apart the colony, the androids look to prevent it from happening. As such, they look to control people’s beliefs.

The series will follow the group from childhood to adulthood. Once in their adult years, things begin to go a little sideways. The Raised by Wolves synopsis insinuates that there will be some form of rebellion against the androids. However, the new trailer and some other marketing materials make it seem as though there are a few twists in store.

The new trailer might give too much information away ahead of the show’s release. The main reason for this is that there’s quite a lot of plot points included, as well as nods to potential swerves during the season. Hopefully, that isn’t the case and the marketing team is throwing a swerve ball.

The show features quite a star-studded cast. Alongside Amanda Collin and Abubakar Salim are Travis Fimmel, Ivy Wong, Aasiya Shah, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, and Ethan Hazzard. Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, and Felix Jamieson also co-star.

Raised by Wolves will debut on HBO Max on September 3.

I think you’d agree that it looks like we’re in for a treat.

THIR13EN GHOSTS: A Nostalgic Cult Classic Gets Blu-Ray Release.

The 2001 reboot of Thir13en Ghosts proved to be quite a sensation with it was released. As a result, its popularity matched that of the original, if not surpassing it. A lot of this was because it was a product of its era. It featured MTV-style, flashy editing and a lot of 90s-inspired imagery.

While many films of the era haven’t aged well, this is one of the exceptions. Despite featuring tropes that began boring people over a decade ago, the Steve Beck-helmed film remains as popular as ever. To capitalize on this, the movie is getting a Blu-Ray boxset. Fans of the film should like the extra content that’s people released as part of the set.

Alongside the theatrical version of the movie, the boxset will include interviews with John DeSantis and Shannon Elizabeth, who led the film’s cast. These interviews are set to contain a lot of trivia about Thir13en Ghosts. Much of this may not even be known by die-hard fans of the franchise.

As such, the interviews alone may be worth the price of the set. There are also interviews with the rest of the main cast. The boxset, which is being released by Shout Factory, also contains a high-quality transfer of the film. Naturally, this brings a nice graphical upgrade to the almost 20-year-old film, which now has a fresh feel.

Also included in the box set are the original TV spots for the film and its original electronic press kit. Director Steve Beck also leads an audio commentary that also features Special Makeup Effects Artist Howard Berger and Production Designer Sean Hargreaves. There’s also behind the scenes footage and profiles of the ghosts.

As a result, there’s plenty of content for die-hard fans to digest. The Thir13en Ghosts Blu-Ray box set is currently available to buy at Amazon.

Check Out These Horror Comics And Their Unexpected Twist Endings

Controversy is what makes Horror shine, and when you add this to suspense and twist endings, you’ve created something all of us thriller-loving maniacs can enjoy.

While the combination of all three is quite hard to come by in recent times, we’ve had to broaden our search for good horror and moved away from television and books.

Well, technically it’s still a sort of book, but for anyone fishing for entertaining horror in bitesize pieces, look no further than this Chinese artist.

His work with short twisted stories has given him a large following and we’ve decided to share with you some of his more terrifying horror comics.

Check them out below.

1. Family Matters

This unexpected ending makes us uneasy about ever getting on public transport again. The thought of this happening is sickening, and if we’re honest, it doesn’t seem too far from a possibility.

2. Sad Young Man

When pain takes over, it makes us do things we wouldn’t normally do. Knowing this young man could be anyone who is going through a tough time in life really hits us in the feels.

3. Reading Stories

Horrifying. A parasite imitating a child was never one of my fears, but after seeing this eerie comic, it definitely breaks into my top 10.

4. Fairy Tales

Children just radiate innoncence, and although she eventually came out of hiding and reunited with her mother, it’s hard not to wonder what would have happened if she sided with the monster. Who knows, maybe she would have ended up like the girl in horror comic #3!

5. The Dentist

I mean, normally, this would be extremely terrifying and would make me against going to the dentist even more than I already am, but bullies deserve the karma, right!

6. Cursed

They tell you not to believe everything you see on the internet. But, in this case, you better check behind you just to be safe.

7. Sad Voodoo

Yep, this one hit us too! Such a heartbreaking story that definitely got in touch with my nonexistent emotions. Let’s hope it worked for the little boy.

An Affectionate Baby Elephant Just Wants Cuddles

Elephants are one of the few animals that are adorable but can kill a person just by sitting on them. With their terrifying size, it shouldn’t be surprising that they could squash someone with ease. However, this hasn’t stopped them from wanting to play around with people. Thankfully, this very rarely goes wrong, especially when it’s a baby elephant doing the playing.

Though their naturally small for their species, the babies can still outweigh the majority of humans. With that size comes a lot of strength, which they occasionally forget about. Despite this, they have no problem when it comes to getting cuddles off of people when they want to.

As the video below from the Patara Elephant Farm in Chiang Mai, Thailand, highlights, they often get cuddled whenever they want to. The video shows a baby elephant knock over a visitor in the mud so that the elephant can cuddle her. It didn’t hurt that the visitor, named Hannah Frenchick, was already sitting on the floor when the elephant knocked her over.

While many people may be terrified to be in such a position, Ms. Frenchick seemed to be enjoying it just as much as the elephant. Whether or not this is because of how good of a cuddler the elephant is still remains unclear. Regardless, the animal doesn’t show any ill intentions towards the woman.

Instead, it comes across almost like a dog who just wants a bit of attention. That attention just so happened to include a lot of muddy cuddles. Thankfully, Ms. Frenchick happened to be wearing a plastic purple raincoat, so her actual clothes shouldn’t have gotten too dirty during the encounter.

Regardless, the fact that she got to cuddle a baby elephant in the mud is a memory she should never forget. Everyone else gets to be jealous when watching the footage.

A Limited Edition Resident Evil Blu-ray Box Set Is Being Released

Despite receiving middling acclaim in the box office, the Resident Evil movie franchise has become a cult-favorite. Taking inspiration from the games of the same name, the movies featured numerous set pieces, jump scares, and zombie dogs. Combined, these added to the film’s B-movie appeal while making Milla Jovovich a horror icon.

While the franchise saw more success in the DVD world, it took a while for it to make it to Blu-ray. At least, that was the case for box sets that brought all six movies together. However, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing a limited-edition Resident Evil Collection Blu-ray/Digital box set.

Now available for pre-order on Amazon, the box set also uses 4K Ultra HD to help freshen up the look of the older films. Fans of Resident Evil shouldn’t just expect the six films with the box set, however. Instead, there are several hours of bonus content available, including archival featurettes that haven’t yet been released on disc.

Some of the films will also have a theatrical and extended cut included in the box set. Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed the movies, gives a video introduction to the films and also provides an alternate ending to the first film. That’s alongside all of the commentaries that have become standard for box set releases.

Each of the movies has a large amount of extra content crammed in, so there should be enough to attract even hardcore fans. The series stars Milla Jovovich as protagonist Alice, who has been infected with a virus that gives her super-strength, alongside other powers.

The Resident Evil Collection Blu-ray/Digital box set is available to pre-order for $95.99 on Amazon. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is set to begin shipping them on November 3, just in time for christmas. Given that it’s a limited edition, fans may want to pre-order them quite quickly.

Medieval Wine Windows Used During The Plague Are Opening Again In Italy

The bubonic plague left a lasting impression across the world that would be felt for decades, if not centuries. However, not all of this has been negative. In Italy, for example, it led to the introduction of wine windows. These are almost exactly what many people would assume they are.

Introduced in the 1600s, the windows were installed in the walls `of pubs, restaurants, and bars across the country. Through a small door, these would be used to serve customers without coming into contact with them. After a few places installed them, they quickly proved to be popular and spread across the country.

After the bubonic plague finished, they were used relatively sporadically. As the following centuries passed, they were eventually left unused. Despite this, Italy’s wine windows remained in place and became a small part of many city’s character. Now, they’ve become just as popular, if not more so, than they were during the 1600s.

Naturally, this has been driven by the current global pandemic. This has been especially true in the Tuscany region and Florence in particular. About 150 of the windows dot the architecture, with many seeing a lot of use. With this popularity skyrocketing, attempts are being made to authenticate some of the oldest windows.

A lot of this is to preserve their historical and cultural value. Though this doesn’t mean that new wine windows can’t be installed, it does mean that ones dating back hundreds of years are protected. This could prove to be vital, as dozens were destroyed in Florence during a flood in the 1960s.

The historical importance is especially vital to the Antinori, Frescobaldi, and Ricasoli families, who have been making wine for centuries. Each family also used the windows extensively since they were first introduced. The Wine Window Association is behind these preservation efforts. The association notes that it not only wants to protect these windows but also give them the recognition that they deserve.

It great to see these windows being used again during the pandemic.
