The official poster for Mary Harron’s ‘Charlie Says‘ has been released. Check it out down below. The film, which is co-written by Guinevere Turner, focuses on the three “Manson Family” women who were sentenced to death.
Matt Smith (Doctor Who) plays Charles Manson, while Chace Crawford portrays Manson family member Tex Watson, and Sosie Bacon plays Patricia Krenwinkel. Other stars include Annabeth Gish, Suki Waterhouse, Hannah Murray, Odessa Young, Marianne Rendon, Carla Gugino, Kaylie Carter, and Merritt Wever.
The script is based on Karlene Faith’s ‘The Long Prison Journey of Leslie van Houten: Life Beyond The Cult,’ as well as the controversial 1971 novel ‘The Family,’ by Ed Sanders. Producers include Jeremy M. Rosen and Kevin Shulman. David Hillary, Dana Guerin, and Michael Guerin will executive produce.

Convinced the prisoners are not the inhuman monsters the world believes them to be, Karlene begins the arduous process of breaking down the psychological barriers erected by Manson.
