Throughout the world, the month of October is celebrated by artists as the month of drawing. They take on the Inktober challenge and do a drawing a day for all 31 days. Alex Solis, a Chicago-based illustrator, took the challenge to unbelievable lengths. His theme for Inktober was to re-imagine famous horror character and depict them as infants. Cute and murderous altogether, this stunning collection of art is marvelous to behold.
In an interview Solis said “I wanted to give them a horrific look but still a very innocent feel to them. I think it makes them cute, you almost want to be murdered by them!” He also stated that the inspiration behind this theme was his child: “I have a 6 month old baby right now and it was October so I wanted to create something that was inspired by him everyday!”
