There has been a lot of focus on the life and crimes of notorious American serial killer Ted Bundy as of late.
Mostly due to the fame surrounding ‘Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes’ on Netflix. For those of you who haven’t checked it out yet, I strongly recommend it. The series includes audio from several interviews Bundy took part in while incarcerated. His crimes, multiple escapes from prison, and extremely entertaining trials are also chronicled.
However, COTA Films and Ninjas Runnin’ Wild Productions brings ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile’. The film takes a look at the Bundy crimes from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who initially refused to believe the truth of his murderous ways for years.
Zak Efron looks to play a tremendous portrayal of Bundy, with Lily Collins playing Kloepfer. No official release date has been given for theaters, however, it was released at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on January 26th. Check out the official trailer for ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile’ below:
Bundy confessed to 30 murders of young women between the years 1974 and 1978, however, the true number of murders is unknown. He committed the killings in several states such as Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. Bundy was executed via electric chair in a Florida State Prison in 1989 for his crimes.
