This past October, it was announced that ‘The Boy’ would be receiving a sequel after its original in 2016.
The film will star Katie Holmes as Liza, with Christopher Convery playing her on-screen son. Ralph Ineson and Owain Yeoman have been retained for the sequel as well. According to a report from Dread Central, production for ‘The Boy 2’ has now begun in Vancouver. A brief synopsis for the sequel can be found below:
“Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.”
Original director William Brent Bell has returned for the project, along with writer Stacey Menear. No teaser trailer has been released for the film just yet, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
