Jonas Åkerlund‘s Sundance drama ‘Lords of Chaos’ now has an official trailer. The film is set to hit theaters on February 8th and will be available to stream on February 22nd.

Per a review from Bloody Disgusting’s Fred Topel, ‘Lords Of Chaos’ ““isn’t a horror movie per se, but it is gory AF and deals in many of the tropes of the genre.”

Below is a brief descriptions of the film:

“A teenager’s quest to launch Norwegian Black Metal in Oslo in the 1980s results in a very violent outcome. Lords of Chaos tells the true story of True Norwegian Black Metal and its most notorious practitioners – a group of young men with a flair for publicity, church-burning and murder: MAYHEM.”

Actor Rory Culkin plays Euronymous, with Emory Cohen as Varg, Anthony De La Torre as Hellhammer, Sky Ferreira as Ann-Marit, Jack Kilmer as Per Yngve “Dead” Ohlin, and Valter Skarsgard as Faust. Check out the official trailer below:
