Trypophobia is the fear of small patterns of holes. In recent years the internet has embraced this phobia in internet memes designed to get cheap shock value in an attempt to go viral. One television show has decided to take it to the next level.
Clowns are scary enough what with individuals like The Joker and Pennywise from It running around. Now add in a phobia-inducing red nose and you’ll bring new meaning to the term, “die laughing”.
Normally this would be a pretty sweet pic, but the pollination of honeycomb all over the lady gives a stinging feeling of terror.

Trypophobia is the fear of small holes and patterns. American Horror Story knows this and they have decided to play up that fear in order to get ratings for their latest season. A season which will ultimately feature clowns going on a terror-filled murder spree during a time when political leaders and nearly as terrifying and twice as over-the-top as the characters in the show.
The producers obviously knew what they were doing when they decided to tug at the scared little heart strings of its viewers. The season will run for eleven episodes, but how long will you last in such a gruesome landscape?
