This book by William Peter Blatty tells the story of how two priests try to save the soul of a 12-year-old girl who has been possessed by a demon, all while they try to stay alive as well. This is a horror novel published in 1971 and is one of the most recognized in the world.

It is a book written by author Ray Bradbury and was published in 1965 in the month of October. Autumn is the season of the year that gives more fear, with all the corpses, witches and ghosts touching your window, and in book you will see how they make theirs at night.
3- The Haunting
The story written by Michelle Muto begins with the investigation of a house with paranormal activity that had remained covered with moss and oaks for decades, but soon becomes a supernatural attack when the protagonists decide to enter in the house.
4- Pet Sematary
This is a book really bloody, written by Stephen King, that was published in the year 1983. Also it is full of strange burial rituals with people and animals that return from the dead.

It tells the story of ghosts and things they could not say before they were killed. It is a terrifying book that was published in the year 1983, in addition it was the third book realized by the writer Daphne du Maurier.

The story was written by Niel Gaiman and was published in 2002. This book tell how a girl who don’t receive much attention from her parents ends up in another world very similar to ours, but in this one has a mother and father with a few buttons in place of their eyes.

The story of S. P. Miskowski is about three girls who have been warned of the dangers that are in the forest, but still they decide to go into it and then discover that something bad will not let them out.
12- Mayhem
This book tells the story of a murderer who has been reduced to appear a new one known as Jack the Ripper. This is one of the writings of Sarah Pinborough that was published in 2013.
13- The Woman In Black
Susan Hill is the writer of the story about a man who, in his quest for the truth, unearths an evil spirit by mistake that anger after him and all the citizens of the town. This book was published in the course of 2015.
