Quaid plays Charlie, an eerily lonely man who has sold his family home to a young couple. However, Charlie’s behavior begins to change as his attachment to the home disturbs the couple’s daily life. The couple, Scott and Annie Russell, must hold everything that matters to them dearly to survive the intruder.
