The somewhat Macabre title of Park Row, which is of course the location where Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed, is given to the group of restaurants that are to be opened in Soho, London later this year.
The positively gigantic 18000 sq site will feature five restaurants and three bars, all with their own totally immersive DC theme.
Wonderland Restaurant Group, the developer of the project will reportedly create a space that has “a design that will reference the various elements of the Batman world with space including Pennyworth’s – names after Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred – which will serve British sharing dishes; The Penguin’s Iceberg Lounge that will offer an international food menu and feature live entertainment; a Harley Quinn-inspired omakase restaurant; and cocktail bar Old Gotham City, which is describes as ‘villainous speakeasy”.
Park Row also boasts the high dining experience of The Monarch Theatre which will serve a “multi-sensory tasting menu…that will use projection mapping technology said to explore the psychology of heroism through food”
The project certainly sounds exciting and is definitely ambitious with prices starting from £45 per person to £120 at the Monarch Theatre
