The Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort in Chiang Rai, Thailand, allows guests to stay in fully furnished and transparent jungle bubbles in a forest surrounded by three majestic rescue elephants.

You can watch these elephants interact with each other, play, and sleep in what is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to get closer to nature in more ways than one. However, the main thing they like to do is eat and with plenty of sugar cane strategically placed near the bubbles, the elephants are always within sight for the residing guests.

In addition to being able to observe the elephants, guests will also have access to the highest-quality amenities in their jungle bubbles.

Some of these include:

  • Spacious rooms and living space
  • King-sized bed
  • Air-conditioning
  • Bathrobes and slippers
  • Transparent roof
  • 24-hour in-room dining service

As of now, the jungle bubble experience costs 17,700 baht ($544 USD) per night for two people. It should be noted that the experience must be purchased in addition to resort accommodation.

According to CNN Travel, guests who book the experience will be driven from the lobby of the resort in an open-air jeep. They will then take a short walk through the rice paddy until they finally reach the jungle bubbles. Upon arrival, the staff provides guests with an evening picnic basket allowing them to eat alongside the elephants. However, there is a strict policy against touching or feeding the animals.

Overall, the goal of the jungle bubble experience is to provide a luxurious setting for guests to observe nature while adhering to safety standards such as making sure the bubbles are elephant-proof.

And despite all the amenities available in the room, don’t expect to have a television. After all, your entertainment can be seen right through your bubble.
