The Winchester Mystery House recently announced that it will officially be opening their doors again starting this Friday, May 15.
For a change, visitors will be treated with a new tour called “The Winchester Estate Self-Guided Garden Tour,” which is promised to be a different kind of garden tour compared to the previous offerings by the Estate. It will be outdoor only and a completely touchless experience with around twenty stops throughout Victorian Gardens’ four acres property.

Those who are already setting their plans to visit, tours will be offered from Thursdays to Saturdays with required pre-purchased ticket(s) upon arrival. Each ticket – which will be only available at Winchester Mystery Houses’ official website at winchestermysteryhouse.com –costs $19.99 for adults, $9.99 for children, and $15.99 for senior citizens. Ticket holders of “The Winchester Estate Self-Guided Tour” will automatically receive a 50% discount for ticket admission of Winchester Mystery House’s mansion tours when it resumes in the future.
Upon entering the tour, guests will be provided with a link to the digital map and audio guide that will be accessible on their personal devices.
Walter Magnuson, the General Manager for Winchester Mystery House, expressed his excitement to finally welcome its guests back to Sarah Winchester’s Estate, especially since it will be having a phased approach focusing on their guests and employees’ safety and comfort.
He added that “the Victorian Gardens have never looked more beautiful, with an additional offer: an opportunity to enjoy the tour with zero-contact.”

Aside from The Self-Guided Tour, the Winchester Mystery House also offers the Immersive 360 Tour, a virtual experience that allows everyone to freely roam each level of the Estate on the comforts of their home. This tour is currently available for $8.99.
