John Krasinski’s ‘A Quiet Place’ has done very well for itself since its 2018 release.
Despite facing some tough competition at the Critics’ Choice Awards; such as ‘Annihilation’, ‘Halloween’, and ‘Hereditary and Suspiria’, ‘A Quiet Place’ took home Best Horror/Sci-Fi Movie. The Krasinski project follows Jordan Peele’s ‘Get Out,’ which won the same award last year. ‘Get Out’s’ success followed with nominations for Best Motion Picture, Best Leading Actor, and Best Directing at the Academy Awards.
Of course, it wound up winning Best Original Screenplay. ‘A Quiet Place’ could possibly see the same success. Nominations for the 91st Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 22nd. It will be interesing to see how many categories, if any, ‘A Quiet Place’ is nominated for.
With that being said, Krasinski is currently penning ‘A Quiet Place 2.’
